Valleywood Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Apple Valley, Minnesota.
Valleywood Golf Course first opened for play in 1975. The course was designed by Don Herfort.
Located in the beautiful Apple Valley on 190 acres of rolling hills with 11 ponds and majestic stands of trees, Valleywood gives you the feel of a country club at a daily fee rate. With only 4 residential sights visible from Valleywood's grounds you are surrounded by nature. This heavily-wooded course has water hazards coming into play on fifteen holes, and there are plenty of sand bunkers on the course. The tree-lined fairways are narrow and bordered by a standard cut of rough, and the large greens vary in undulation and their speeds are determined by the seasonal weather conditions.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,376 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,238 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 511 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 157 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 15, the 511 yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Valleywood Golf Course is # 7, a 167 yard par-3.

Only "fair" condition and too many blind shots however their twilight pricing is a lot of golf for a low price

Excellent greens and tees, some spotty places on fairways. Much better conditions than most, especially the greens which were very smooth and firm. A few blind shots but the conditions make up for these. Nice new clubhouse and excellent amenities for a municipal course.
